Pride for Youth rocked Long Island Pride!

Pride for Youth had an amazing time at this years Long Island Pride Parade in Huntington, Long Island! PFY brought a bus full of our youth (with the help of Pride Parade creator Sandy Faison!) and marched loudly and proudly! Then our youth had an amazing day hanging out in the park, celebrating!

Pride for Youth also had a booth at Pride-fest where we had PFY and Mpowerment give-a-ways! Many of you came to say 'hi!' or left your email address for our upcoming 20th anniversary party on November 15th, 2013! (Details to come!) Hope to see you then!

March with Pride for Youth in the 2013 Long Island Pride Parade & 'March with Pride'!

 

This Saturday is the Long Island Pride Parade in Huntington! The parade starts at noon and we are more excited than ever to be marching because we are celebrating 20 years at the first LGBTQ youth program on Long Island!

Pride for Youth will be proudly marching down the parade route with a HUGE group of LGBTQ youth and straight ally's -- and hopefully, YOU! Pride for Youth is inviting any and all supportive community members to march with Pride for Youth this Saturday in the Long Island Pride Parade! To march with us, simply show up at the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington by 11:30 and look for the big Pride for Youth banner and van (decorated by our youth!) People who walk with us will also get a great Pride for Youth give-a-way! We really hope you can join us and 'March with Pride'! We will also have a table at the event - stop by and say 'hi', get some cool PFY gear and find out information about our upcoming 20th Anniversary Celebration in November!
